A devoted animal lover, Kate’s passion for rescuing animals has become a reality as today she and Steve provide a rescue sanctuary on their farm where they shelter abused and neglected animals of all kinds. Many of these animals were on the road to slaughter, unnecessary euthanasia, or were saved from a life of neglect and/or abuse.
At Heartbeat Animal Sanctuary, they are provided a safe and loving environment, excellent nutrition, proper vet care, and socialization. They can now live out their final days grazing on all the green grass they can dream of.
Properties Available
We appreciate your interest in one of our beautiful properties. We moved to Aiken in 2013 from the North East, and we have never regretted it for one day. We love it here. We have two homes on 100 beautiful acres, and when our family isn't visiting we are happy to host anyone wanting a quiet getaway.
