A devoted animal lover, Kate’s passion for rescuing animals has become a reality as today she and Steve provide a rescue sanctuary on their farm where they shelter abused and neglected animals of all kinds. Many of these animals were on the road to slaughter, unnecessary euthanasia or saved from a life of neglect and/or abuse.
At Heartbeat Animal Sanctuary, they are provided a safe and loving environment, excellent nutrition, proper vet care, and socialization. They can now live out their final days grazing on all the green grass they can dream of.
Here are a few stories of our treasured rescues that we share with anyone who wishes to visit or stay as a guest at one of our properties.
